A Christmas list (my style)

Dear Santa:
Please provide the following items. When a particular item is not available, I will take a rain
check or possible substitution. Feel free to contact me for details.

  1.  Peace on Earth. I realize this is a big item, but I think it is overdue.
  2.  Feed the Hungry. Another large item, but it should be easily achievable.
  3.  Clean drinking water. See item #2 above.
  4.  That everyone should experience love. This one is a little fuzzy, and hard to put in a box, but doable nonetheless.
  5.  Education for all children that desire it. I think by now you should have enough elves to get laptops or books to all corners of the earth.

These are acceptable additions if you feel I’ve been exceptionally good this year.
● Have everyone in a hurry learn to relax and slow down
● Have people learn to take care of their bodies
● Have people play as often as possible
I could have added MANY more things to this list, but realize you are busy this time of year. I also know my list will take some time to fully develop, but if one man can visit all the good boys and girls of the earth in one evening, anything is possible.
Cookies and milk are by the fireplace as always. Merry Christmas!

About Brian McCarrel

I am the late, great middle class working stiff that is the framework of society. Notice I didn't say foundation, that would indicate my ego was over sized. I (like many of you) am a victim of my own desire to be what those around us think we should be. But more on that later ... And excuse the grammar, I'm NOT a professional.

  1. Maria says:

All those things are already here, right in your heart. All you have to do is shine your light, expand your love outward and you’ll begin to see the beauty everywhere.

Ah the power we have to change the world…. truly amazing!

Gosh now I’m all full of warm fuzzies :)

    Have a great day!

  2. As always Maria you are a beacon of sunshine in my sometimes cloudy perspective! We are the voices that will rock the world and bring the change.
Wishing you and yours a wonderful holiday season!
